Life here

Mont Boron

By La Gazette de la Promenade

Mont Boron is a wooded hill set between two waters: the Baie des Anges on one side, the bay of Villefranche on the other. At the top, Fort Mont Alban, built in the 16th century, watches over both at once. It is the only district of Nice where you choose your sea by choosing your orientation.

Life here is quiet and runs on wheels: ten minutes down to the city, back up with the shopping. In exchange, the pines of the forest park, paths that smell of maquis, cicadas in August, and sunsets watched from the living room.

The lower edge of the district touches Lympia harbour: you walk down for dinner and back up on summer evenings. Boulevard du Mont Boron unrolls 1900s villas and 1970s residences, almost all turned towards the water.

On the market, Mont Boron plays in the league of the capes: villas with garden and view, flats in residences with deep terraces, prices that follow the view more than the floor area. International buyers look here for calm without isolation: the city stays ten minutes away.
